After all, even if you’re going to be using the sports car for everyday activities, the drives to work or the shops are unlikely to provide much of an experience.

Find a good route to drive on during the summer
Of course, sports cars are all about the driving experience above everything else, so you’ll want to be able to take it to a road or series of roads that are interesting to drive on.
Preferably you’ll want an interesting route that doesn’t take ages to drive to, but some exploration may be required on your part. Have a look online to see recommended driving roads or explore some nearby routes that look like they could be interesting.
Explore some new roads in your sports car and you may very well be pleasantly surprised by the discovery of a road that feels amazing to drive on. But of course, make sure you’re able to find a way home wherever you end up going!
Visit a track day
Track days are a very popular activity amongst petrolheads in Britain and you can bring pretty much any sort of car to them. Sports car drivers are likely to gain the most from track days though.

Go hill climbing
Parting in a hill climb is somewhat similar to visiting a track day but there’s a more competitive element. Rather than go around a circuit, you drive up a route that’s going uphill as quickly as you can.
What can make hill climb so appealing even to those that haven’t done it before is that you don’t even need a racing licence to take part.
Pretty much any car can be entered into a hill climb, as long as it is roadworthy. They are also relatively cheap, not too difficult and the corner-heavy routes also tend to make sports car an ideal vehicle to be in for them.
Visit a car meet
Car meets are another popular event organised by petrolheads across Britain. Many cities will have some kind of car meet perhaps as often as a monthly basis. Meet ups known as cars and coffee are particularly popular in Britain and beyond.
A lot of motorists like to bring modified cars to car meets but a sports car whether it’s modified or not is always likely to grab attention. So, if you feel like showing off your new motor and talking to other sports car owners, a car meet can be an easy and fun way to do these things.
Car meets can even serve as an opportunity to exchange ideas and buy or sell parts with like-minded sports car owners.
Join an owners' club
Joining up with an owners’ club which focuses on the same brand or model as your sports car is easy and can open doors to various exciting opportunities.
Being in an owners’ club can not only allow you to meet fellow enthusiasts, but also give you easy access to information on upcoming track days, hill climbs and meet ups which would suit your vehicle nicely.
