What engines are on offer?
Two petrol engines are offered on the Fiat 500X. There’s no diesel or electrified options currently in its line-up.
Kicking off the range is a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder unit producing 118bhp and 190Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox, resulting in a 0-60mph time of 10.7 seconds and a 117mph top speed. In entry-level Urban guise, it’s said to return 43.5mpg while emitting 129g/km of CO2.
Topping the 500X engine selection is a 1.3-litre unit developing 148bhp and 270Nm of torque, delivered to the front wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. As a result, 0-60mph is covered in 8.9 seconds with a 124mph top speed possible. When deployed in Urban trim, it’s claimed to achieve 42.8mpg with emissions weighing in at 134g/km of CO2.
