We say Decent, cheap little runabout for the city with fugly looks and a cheap interior.Performance 64bhp 1.2 is predictably underpowered; 80bhp 1.2 is more powerful, as is the 1.4; 1.5-litre 82bhp turbodiesel is flexible and smooth; 1.6-litre Sport version is the Micra’s only engaging engine.Emissions A decent chassis makes for grip, though the Micra’s steering is very soft, which is good for the city but makes it pretty dull.Driving 47mpg and 139g/km are possible in the 1.2 petrol Micra.
Feel The Micra’s engines are a tad noisy, especially the diesel. The ride is comically poor over potholes and poor road surfaces.Space There’s decent space for four but that’s about it.
