We say The Evora offers supercar performance at a more realistic price point – and in a half-way practical package.Performance A 276bhp 3.5-litre V6 engine in a car as light as the Evora is, well, insane.Emissions At 205g/km is no Prius, but it’s not meant to be. Over 32mpg combined is good though.Driving The Evora handles like a... Lotus, we suppose but the new chassis is really soemthing. It’s very nimble and corners with ease.Feel The Evora’s engine can be surprisingly quiet, which makes it a decent cruiser, and external noise is well kept out.Space The Evora is very cramped inside, especially the back seats. There is very little boot to speak of at 160 litres.Equipment Recaro seats, air conditioning and electric windows come as standard on the Evora, though cruise control and leather trim costs extra.Price The Lotus Evora is cheap compared to other supercars and running costs are fairly low.Quality As usual with Lotus, the fit and finish is rather below par. Which is a shame, as there’s some decent kit in the cabin.Safety Front airbags and stability control are standard, but again, no curtain or side airbags.Pros Amazing performance, equally as amazing handling, good standard kit.
