Fiat introduces Tipo and Panda (Red) special editions to expand charity work

The special edition models help to raise funds to fight pandemics

Fiat has expanded its range of (Red) special editions to its Panda and Tipo hatchbacks.

Last year, the Italian firm partnered with the pandemic-fighting charity to create special versions of its full 500 line-up, including the new electric model and 500X SUV. With the Tipo and Panda now available in a (Red) guise, it means every Fiat model is available in this trim.

Beginning with the Ford Focus-rivalling Tipo, the (Red) model is based on the more rugged-looking Cross trim, and is available in four colours – red, grey, white or black. Each model features (Red) logos on the b-pillars, as well as red door mirrors. Inside, the car’s seats are made from sustainable Seaqual yarn, which uses recycled plastics made from marine waste, while bespoke floor mats are also used.

Next up is the Panda city car,  which remains one of the most popular cars in its segment, and benefits from the same interior and exterior styling tweaks as the Tipo.

Named after the colour of emergency, the charity (Red) was founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 with the aim of using companies to help combat the AIDS pandemic, while in more recent years it’s turned its hand to fighting the devastating impact of Covid-19, particularly in more vulnerable countries.

The new Fiat Panda (Red) is priced from £15,755, and the Tipo (Red) costs from £23,595. Both are available to order now too.
