The 6.0-litre engine emits 368g/km in CO2 emissions and returns 17mpg. The 5.5-litre is marginally better and emits 350g/km and returns 17mpg as well.Driving Lots of body roll, poor suspension and a generally lazy drive means the 57 handles as you’d exect a huge barge to handle. If you’re the chauffeur you won’t enjoy driving, if you’re being chauffeured you will enjoy it.Feel Generally hushed, with a little growl from the engine. It’s an incredibly refined cruiser and if you’re sat in the back you’ll enjoy the absolute comfort that you’ll travel round in.Space A frankly ludicrous amount of space. You could live in the thing with your family. At the rear there’s a 605-litre boot which makes it bigger than rival Rolls-Royces and Bentleys.Equipment DVD/TV screens, surround-sound and fridge. Loads of options and trim levels so you can mix and matchPrice Prices come in at just over quarter of a million quid. Any talk about running costs would seem ludicrous under the circumstances.Quality Quality is superb. The Mercedes engines will be fine. There are a few worries about electrics on such a complicated car but inside the quality of fixtures and fittings befits the £250,000 pricetag.Safety Shedloads of safety kit, with ten airbags on a safety cage.Pros Enormous. Huge power and great if you’re sat in the back.
